Though I bought MC several months ago, I'm still only dabbling with it, so please bear with me. Here's my problem:
I use single value tags for Artist and Album Artist for a better compatibility with external devices and OS/software. But I fill the Composer tag with the multivalued Album Artist and the Performer tag with the multivalued Artist. Examples:
Album Artist= Diane Schuur & B.B. King
Composer= Diane Schuur; B.B. King
or:
Artist= B.B. King with Van Morrison
Performer= B.B. King; Van Morrison
Obviously, the semicolon is natively a "/" (id3v2.3) or a null char (vorbis comments)
With Vorbis comments (FLAC), MC list display in panes is fine: I get a line with each composer/performer. But with id3v2.3 MP3 tags, I get a single line for "Diane Schuur / B.B. King" (Composer) and no Van Morrison listed (Performer, a list tag I had to create, which surprised me).
Also, how to not display those checkboxes on the right in each pane? And why is there a "New...."(artist, performer etc.) at the end of each list?
