Title: 'Bitstream DSD' vs 'Original' mode for DSF files
Post by: rippolito on October 20, 2018, 11:58:04 am
I ripped my SACDs, and want to send them wirelessly to my Oppo 103.  I would be interested in your views on which is the best way to transmit / render these DSF files.

When configuring my DLNA settings, I can set set the mode to 'original', which I assume means the file will be sent as-is.  Under 'Advanced', there is a checkbox to 'Bitstream DSD'.

Do these settings yield the same result, namely, the DSF files will be sent to the Oppo unconverted?

Thank you in advance...
Ron
