Hy to all. JRiver on Windows 10  RS4 not play internet radio stream ogg  and opus. See this https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=99014.0.
Streams is up     http://stream.radioreklama.bg/radio1.ogg.m3u   and     http://stream.radioreklama.bg/radio1.opus.m3u

Holy moly that thread's from 2015. . .

Causes MC (24.0.60 64bit) to hang for me.

File | Open URL. . .

Loaded LAV Splitter component then hung 'loading URL'. Screen went 'grey' if clicked, option of wait or close program. Waited for a good while. No joy. Closed program.

Tried again

The streams play with no problem with MPC-BE, VLC, Pot Player.Crash with JRiver.

Yes that's pretty strange, even more strange it works in Mac and Linux fine.
It seems to be related to LAV and directX. Checking into it.

The problem is old and nothing has been fixed for so long.Same problem when listen dts-wav from cd. Only static noise.To play must extract to HDD , not play direct from CD.

I can't see that those 2 issues have anything to do with each other.

I applied some fixes for this, so at least the .opus URL now plays. The .ogg version still fails for some other reason. Still looking into that.
A more long-term solution would be to actually add an internal Opus plugin, instead of relying on the DirectShow engine for Opus, since the codec is becoming more and more popular.
