Title: Digital TV Signal Strength Meter
Post by: sftaylor on November 08, 2018, 10:05:12 am
It seems to me, that at one time I saw a signal strength meter in JRiver to see how strong a digital tv channel is. However, I cannot find it for anything. Has it been removed in the latest version?

Or if using Theater View, use the up and down arrow buttons on your remote.

The interesting things you learn browsing the forum...
Is the signal strength based on SNR data from the tuner card?
If I have a quad-tuner and trigger 4 live recordings can I see signal strength for each individual tuner / channel?
Is any of the signal-strength measurement tagged on the recording? If not, can it be?

Signal strength is not tagged.  You can not see signal strength of all tuners.  In current implementation only the tuner showing video on screen can have the data available.
