Title: Can I move MC 24 (& associated drivers for Ifi DAC) to a dedicated 1TB ext HDD
Post by: ComponentAudioGuy on November 10, 2018, 08:06:29 am
I recently upgraded my HDD to an SSD. On a few recent occassions I've had a difficult time rebooting my Acer Aspire (Yeah, I know it's a Notebook; But that's all I have at this point) after MC has crashed. Thank God for Macrium Reflect at this point !

I'm really not quite sure whether it was loading fidelizer that had some incompatibility issues with the Ifi audio 3.20 driver firmware download that may be causing some problems. I ended up removing fidelizer.

Things do sound pretty nice, but I somehow seem to crash MC when changing settings upon occasion.

Any suggestions to stop the system crashes?

Thanks

If you mean that the OS is crashing, that can't be a problem with MC.
