Title: Album artist tag

Hello,

I'm having the following problem. I recently import to MC9 all my WMAs from WMP9. The MC9 seem that ignores the WMA Album Artist tag and uses its own. (Although you can see in 'properties/format'). So I have to  manually retype the almum artist for all my songs.

Any idea how to solve this?

Perhaps you can 'right-click' on the file(s),
select 'Library Tools ---> Move / Copy Fields' and then select to copy the 'Artist' field to the 'Album/Artist' field.
This has worked well for me, then all I need do manually is edit any where the 'Artist' and 'Album/Artist' differ, which is relatively few in my collection.

Thanks Lisa,

That may help... But Ithink it would be better if MC stores Album Artist in a pure WMA tag for compatibility reasons.
Maybe in a future release (I hope:))
