hi guys
i want to use 'm3u' playlists rather than the default 'pla' format when syncing music from jr24 > walkman. which of the 4 'm3u' shown in the picture should i use? or should i go for one of the 'm3u8' instead?
-
The first option should work for most devices. Give it a try. :)

thanks hendrik will do :)

If you are using files with accented characters in the file name you must use m3u8 format playlists or the walkman will probabbly only see those files in the playlist up to the one with an accented character. So a 50 track playlist might look like a 3 track playlist if the fourth file contains accented characters. Spent many a happy an hour sorting that one out when my walkman kept misbehaving when sent some playlists.

ah ok. yes i have a few classical pieces that would be accented. so looking at the options i have either
m3u8
m3u8 (relative paths)
which of those should i use?
-
m3U8 relative path
With the walkman I have always found it more reliable if the playlist is placed in the music folder rather than anywhere else.
-
great thanks for the tip! so where it is currently
playlist path: playlists\
change that to
playlist path: music\
or
playlist path: music\playlists\
-
playlist path: music\ is the one I use.

thanks will give the m3u8 a go :)
