Title: Trial Version Not Detecting my AK70 MK II
Post by: willie227 on December 16, 2018, 07:11:05 pm
Just purchased an AK70 MK II and wanted to try out MC for Mac to import music from iTunes, organize files and transfer to the player. Problem is, the program is not detecting the device, even after going to options and trying re-detect. Any idea why? Would gladly purchase the app if it was able to see the player.

My AK70 is recognised by MediaCenter 22 but not by MediaCenter 24. It's sad, but the upgrade was a waste of money.

If you're using the 64-bit version of Media Center 24, try the 32-bit instead as the AK70 might only work with 32-bit.

The Mac version of MC is 64 bit only; there is no 32 bit option.

A few minutes of web searching turned up some instructions from A&K on using "android file transfer" with this device.  Have you done that, without using MC?  If that's the supported method, then you'll need to 2 step this process:

1.  Have MC sync what you want to a folder on your hard drive that's set up just for your AK70.
2.  Use android file transfer to copy everything in this folder over to your AK70.

Note, I have no experience at all with the A&K players.  So this may or may not work.
