Title: External subtitles lose sync in DVD playback
Post by: audioriver on December 17, 2018, 11:00:46 am
1. Open a DVD folder, or the VIDEO_TS.IFO file inside that folder.
2. Start the main title
3. Load your synchronized .srt file (right-click/Subtitles/Browse)

The subtitles are displayed out of sync. It seems to be getting worse if you jump back/forward in the video.

1. Convert that main DVD title into a single mkv file, for example.
2. Start playing the mkv file using the same subtitle file.
3. Subtitles display correctly

Tried both RO/ROHQ. Haven't tested a BD folder.

Anyone? My guess is that the issue is created by the DVD Navigator (Blu-Ray also, potentially) and the "subtitle counter" is not being reset when a title is started.
