Hi, I've searched for it, but some info seems to be outdated.
How can we actually get the playlistID ?
I'm trying to get a MCWS done incl the desired playlist to fire it up by remote.
Thanks !

There's no way in the user interface. You can call the web service and walk the playlists that way, but that's not the most convenient.
We're wondering if there should be a right-click command like "Show Playlist ID...".
Thoughts?

Next build will have this:
Changed: Added the playlist ID to the playlist view header (because you need it for some MCWS calls, etc.).

In recent versions of MC there's supposed to be an MC function called FilePlaylist() that shows the playlist ID(s) for a file. So making an expression column with this in a view that shows your playlist should work. I can't test it right now though because the version of MC I have in front of me is too old.
There's also a weird hacky way to get it to show by making a smarlist that contains the playlist in question and then editing the smartlist definition in the editor where you will see the numeric playlist id. I haven't done this in a LONG time and had to look that up! :)

If you select a playlist and look at it in standard view you will see date created and playlist id in the header section of the playlist. 24.0.70 onwards.

thanks swiv3d but I don't see it...I use tabs and have like 6 open is that the problem? thanks

Take a look at the snippet. Having more than one tab doesn't seem to affect it.

thanks...got it, I just never have that extra part of that view open....thanks ;D
