Title: SVCD Playback?

Isn't it possible to playback a SVCD with MC?

Cause the DVD-playback in MC requires an DVD-player to be installed so it should also be possible to play SVCD, no?

Yes, but since the playback is Direct Show based you need a parser filter. The necessary filter is called RIFF, and you'll find it on doom9.org or afterdawn.com.
