Title: Touchscreen control of MC
Post by: acaciolo on May 24, 2003, 07:35:30 pm
Wow...what a great program this is!   It works amazing with my new ipod.

I have about 6 touchscreen based pc's thoughout my house, and I would love to be able to control MC with some type of a cover art screen...kind of like hairstyle.   But...it seems hairstyle isn't very touchscreen friendly.

I want a "clean screen" ...I don't want to see all menu bars, etc.   Does anybody know of a plug in, or a way to get hairspray to be a little more user friendly with touchscreens?  It seems like an easy change...

Welcome to Interact.

I don't know about any plugins yet. I also have a touchscreen and I find that hairstyle is somewhat hard to do with just your finger.

It seems like it would be some easy changes to hairstyle...

I have been using CDJ with a slink-e, but I have decided to switch everthing over MP3.   I really like MC9 (it does so much more than cdj/slinke....except that it doesn't have any easy touchscreen interface.)

If anybody would like to design it, I would like to be the first person to pay for it!

I also use a touchscreen to control MC9 remotely running on my music server.
How is everyone controlling the remote server (outputting to house audio system) with a touchscreen? Or is everyone playing the music on the touchscreen PC?
I am using a remote control program so that the touchscreen looks like the terminal on my server but that is less than optimal.
I have tried Glissando and NetRemote but neither work for me.
