Title: How do you manually get MC to scrape audio data from a CD?

As the title.

Looked around for this, but couldn't find it.  I see how to do this with movies that I rip, but there doesn't seem to be a "get info from internet" for audio like .flacs .

CD-test isn't found on CDs very often, particularly recent CDs I think, now that there is so much information available online. That is the only source of "audio data" that would be on the CD. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-Text
When you RIP a CD using MC, it will look up the Album database in JRiver's online database, YADB, and then try FreeDB if it doesn't find the album. The YADB Album Database is apparently quite good and gives good results.

If you have already ripped the tracks, and just want to use MC to look up Track information, MC uses the YADB Track Database, which apparently isn't so good, and rarely gets results for me. I use MusicBrainz Picard in that case.

Ripping CD I do in this order:

1) MC: if the database contains info (good info)

2) if not I use dbpoweramp (has professional AMG databes behind).

3) However a lot of CD ar wrong or not even in Then I use iTunes.
I rip with iTunes to ALAC if iTunes has better data than the two before.
Then I convert with MC the ripped files to flac.

4) If none of the above works, I rip with MC and add Metadata manually in MC.

Thanks.  I'm really looking to use it with albums I've already ripped.  Looking at MCUtils to do it now.

Not bad, it just seems the databases just really aren't that complete, especially when it comes to conducters and such for Classical.

You can select files, right click, and lookup data from YADB.

Classical is difficult because people enter the information in many different ways.
