Title: NAS Only (Shared Network Drive)

Just downloaded the trial... looking for solution for my laptop to manage media on the NAS (Synology 4 bay).  Want to re-rip all my CD's to the NAS directly, edit coverart as needed, and have my automation system (URC,SNP-2, Sonos, Heos) access the NAS directly to play those files.  See the cover art and be able to make Playlist within the "MediaCenter"

Do not want to have the media on my drive(Laptop)

I'm guessing that you'd like to know if you can store your music on your NAS?
No problem, my mac mini runs like that ever since I started streaming music years ago.
In my case MC has no problems playing back from a NAS.
