Title: Tidal integration
Post by: maca5631 on January 26, 2019, 04:44:02 am
Apologies if this has already been asked.

I currently stream via my LAN to my Cyrus streamer using JRiver MC and controlled with JRemote
However I also have a Tidal subscription, which I can only stream using the proprietary Cyrus app (Cadence).
This arrangement is flaky at best, and often results in the Cadence app falling over whilst having both JRemote and Cadence open at the same time.
Is there any chance whatsoever of Tidal being integrated within JRiver, as it is in Audirvana?

Many thanks

It's been asked a million times it seems. Short answer: it'll likely never happen (search the forums for more information). Same answer also applies to Qobuz too.

Cheers AD.
Looks like I’ll have to switch my allegiance to Audirvana then.
Shame, as I really like JRiver.

Tidal is challenged financially.
Here's why we don't support other services.

Hi Jim.
Many thanks for your prompt response.
Totally understandable, but a shame (for me at least) nonetheless.
Cheers, and keep up the good work.
