Title: Disable Flashing Upgrade Ad
Post by: edbro on February 01, 2019, 08:08:11 pm: Is there a way to disable the flashing advertisement to upgrade? It comes up every time I open MC and it is annoying.

It's there because potential customers who use Outlook/Hotmail accounts won't get JRiver's emails (since Microsoft is blocking them), so to get word to would-be customers they enabled the little MC25 upgrade notification when MC checks for updates.

Disabling auto-update should be fine, we're close to or at the end of MC24's development, I'd guess.

Yeah, I get that but having it flashing at me every time I open is a bit much.
