Title: no sound

hi
new to all this comp music thing.have jriver installed and have a sms-200.have activated DLNA added a file to jriver.under jriver media center 24 is my sms-200 head unit so looks ready to go but no sound please help

Welcome to the forum.  Try dragging an audio file to the device in the upper section of Playing Now.   The lower section of Playing Now shows servers, not renderers, so you can't play to those, although they may also appear in the upper section.  The wiki's DLNA topic explains this.

hi no that does not work. i dont get it the sms device is shown.it works with roon but dont want to spend my life saveings  lol

Could you post a screenshot, showing where the device is?
