Hi all,
I've been working on this problem for about a week now with no luck. While media streams just fine (images, music, movies), The cover art for my music is not coming through. Right now, I keep all cover art in the default cover art directory. The local instance of Media Center shows the artwork just fine, but remote instances attached via Media Server have no art. When I watch the Media Server itself, it is only sending the music (no pics are sent). Any ideas?
For those that can help...my server is up right now...feel free to connect if you think it can help you troubleshoot. The address is:

Any help is greatly appreciated.

put the cover art in the mp3 file.

Do you have to have embedded images to stream the cover art with the file?

yes.

How can this be done? Can it be done with WMA files?

My embedded images don't stream.... unless something changed in the last couple of releases. Is it something I'm doing wrong?
-
Ack sorry, my mistake. I thought it was working but it isn't. This will take a while to do.

So is cover art not streaming correctly? If so, I will stop working on this problem.
Also, I have been unable to embed cover art into my mp3s once they have been associated with an external image. I remove the cover art, delete it from my drive, tell MC to store image inside file, and it still saves the image externally. Is this a bug as well?

Correct: cover art does not stream. I'll fix this when I can, but it won't be tomorrow.
I noticed the same thing: it's tough to get art into the file. I'll mention it to Matt if he doesn't see it here.
