Title: Lyrics/Play last album
Post by: chris635 on March 21, 2019, 04:29:42 am
Hey guys,

Lyrics worked for me once (on one song) and stopped. I have disabled and re-enabled it to no availI figure out that I need to right click (look up lyrics)on the album that is currently playing, then right click (Display Lyrics) in the display box, so this is solved for me. Also, how do I prevent the last album I played from automatically jumping to that album after I restart JRiver?

Thanks

Tools>Options>General>Advanced tick the Clear playing now after exit checkbox.

Spoke too soon...that doesn't fix it. Any other ideas?

What exactly do you mean by MC jumping to your last played album on startup? Which view are you using?

I have jriver set to open to audio/artists. In stead of loading artists a to z, it will load scrolled to last artist played. Example of this would be, I last listened to the group "Rush", then close out jriver, upon restart, it will scroll down to "Rush". I prefer start up to load from first artist starting with the letter "A". This issue for me started with version 25.

Have you got Tools>Options>Startup>Startup Interface set to last location by any chance?

Nope, I sure don't.

Bit of a mystery then - cos that's the only way I can get MC to do what you describe.

Strange that's the same as mine, but when I shutdown and restart it just goes to the start of audio - artist, not to the last played album. Like I said - it's a bit of a mystery. ?

Then a complete uninstall and re-install is on the order. This was an upgrade from v24, so something went wrong somewhere.

So I completely UN-installed v25 twice and went through the registry as well, and the same problem persists. As you can see with the Jriver2 picture, I closed out on Steely Dan and it restarted there.

I then clicked on til Tuesday, first artist listed, then restarted and you can see how it loaded in this screenshot. I'm stuck.

try a different skin....try changing the Mode: to last exit view

try changing Location: to last location

do these 1 at a time then close MC and restart

Same thing happens. If I set jriver tools/options/start up interface/location to "start" then go to audio it's fine.

I also noticed that the last album played remains highlighted after restart(picture with creedence clearwater revival), but it doesn't do it if JRiver opens to start then click on audio.
