I shot the
attached video in landscape mode on my cell phone, but likely with the phone upside down. Edit: no attached, too large.
In MC25, it shows upside down. In Windows Media Player, it shows correctly as I intended when I shot it. Same in Cyberlink PowerDirector 16.
It looks like this is a known issue.

Would be nice to get it addressed some day.
I can always do a rotation in software by re-encoding it, but it is unfortunately a lossy process, and videos shot on smartphone are already not so high quality to begin with.

Try switching video playback to Red October HQ, that should support rotation.
