Title: Excuse my Stupid Questions about Tagging
Post by: stevef9432203 on March 25, 2019, 09:47:50 pm
I've been playing with Media Servers for quite a While ( own Serviio Pro, Twonkyserver, MC25 Master, etc)

I like the crazy tagging possible with MC25, during import is it possible to force  Adult Sub-type from a path /media/Porn
So I don't have to tag all files in that path.

Also is there any meta-tagger plugins for JRiver.  Plex has a couple.

It's pretty easy to add any kind of tag you want on import.

Tools > Options > Library & Folders > configure auto import > Folders > (find your folder here and highlight it) > Edit > Apply these tags > Add > Custom > (choose your tag and the value you want applied)

I don't know of any "meta-tagger plugins" for MC.  For Movies and TV Shows there is a "get movie and TV info" which scrapes TheTVDB, TheMovieDB, and more.  Maybe that's what you are looking for?

Brian.
