Apple is evil. That is why I voted with my wallet years back. No more Apple for me.

If this would be Google, we would already have a case in front of various courts to try to sue for breaking antitrust laws. But Apple is apparently too low on the marketshare for this to work, so they just abuse it as much as they can.
