Hi. Running JRiver 25 on a desktop.
Windows 10.
cannot rip a disc. Says ripping is currently unavailable. Make sure a suitable optical drive is installed. Cannot make it work.
Also having the same problem with JRiver 24.
Suggestions? Thank. Ken

Does anything else see the disc?

Using JR 25. Just installed. Windows 10.
Optical disc working with PDF files okay.
JRriver can read the disk and can give the names of the tracks but cannot rip
RIP is "greyed out". Message says ripping is currently unavailable.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

What are you trying to rip?

audio CD. I cannot rip on a lenovo or a dell desktop. Thanks

Please describe the steps you use.

I place the CD in the drive and then use the action window to rip disk. Says ripping is currently unavailable. If I go to drives and devices and open cd drive it will analyze the disc and list the titles and then says that ripping is currently unavailable. Make sure I am not in party mode. Thanks. Ken

Is it a commercial CD? Have you tried others?
