Usually use basic MC25 view. But in attempting use of cloud system [Jim sent e-mail encouraging us to use it], I found some of the embedded cover art had disappeared.
I usually send cover art to designated folder & also have cover art in album folder as well as having it embedded in music file itself.
this has worked satisfactorily for about 10 years.
so what's wrong now and what do I do to correct it please.
:) :)

Do you have the option set in MC?

Do you have the option set in MC?
I guess you mean this:
Tools/Options/File Location/Cover Art/ Audio mode: In the same folder as the file (as Folder .jpg) - Folder:E\My Pictures\xxx\Albums\Albums\ - Clean cover art folder - [box ticked] also store image in the file's tag.
that's as you see it above.

What format file?
If you look at it in the tag window, do you see the cover art? If you hover over it, what does it say?

OK took a while to find what you meant - but.
You meant the TAG window on the left I believe and the Image section.
that shows the relevant cover art and states below it inside file (55*500 - 77.5 KB).
that's a random selection [bear in mind I have more than 100000 files here, mostly flac]
That file [cover art] does not show in the main list on the right hand side [some do but not all].

In settings, you can force MC to build all thumbnails.
