Title: Policy on preserving settings/User data when upgrading?

I upraded from 22 to late 24 an I'm noticing that settings have changed (mc client connection data) and target folder recents have disappeared.

To me this is a big no no, is this something that JRiver considers?

Not sure what you mean, but you can preserve settings by backing up in the old version and restoring in the new.
