Title: playback could not be started

I have an mp3 song that has suddenly stopped playing.
I get playback could not be started  22.1khz 24bit 2 ch
I use bitstreaming
any idea??

Use MC's DSP Studio > Output Settings to output a format your device will play.

I dont want to use dsp studio, I prefer bitstream.
all my other audio files play fine, I was hoping someone might know what the problem is.

You cannot bitstream MP3. What Jim said is exactly the problem, since 22.1kHz is relatively uncommon.

Thats odd as I bitstream ALL my mp3 and flacs always have no problem

JFYI I got another version of the mp3 that would not play using Bitstreaming and it works fine.

Something to do with the compression I think, the one that would not play was mpeg layer 2 would not play the new one is mpeg layer 1
