Title: Files not closed on program exit Win 10
Post by: Not Me on May 05, 2019, 07:57:40 pm
In Window 10 If I play some audio files in jriver and then try to move those files I get a message that the files are open in another program. I know that it is jriver because I have not run any other programs. If I go into the task manager and kill jriver I can move the files. Why are the files not released when I exit the program?

Try using the stop button, not the pause button.

They still should not be left open when the program exits.

You haven't exited the program if you have to kill it in task manager - might well be wrong but hey ho ? I get the impression you are playing the files by selecting them in windows explorer and then playing them in MC which is causing the problem. Open MC and clear now playing and all will be well with the world.
