Title: [JREMOTE] Play from now?
Post by: stanzani on May 08, 2019, 08:10:39 am
I am reporting again an issue I always had with JRemote
If I select play on an album track, the system play just that track and not all the following (like e.g. Tdal does)
This is annoying if you want to play an opera from second act but the opera is filed under the same album (or composition or any other tag you like)
The fix should be easy I think

thanks much

If you are playing to the "Player Zone" (on MC) you should get the the whole album when you click on a track, this is a pretty basic requirement, I just verified that it works for me.
Is it possible you have the repeat mode setting in MC (to the right of the time slider) set to Stop after each Item?

Press and hold the Play button. This will let you choose options other than the default. But you can also define the default action to be "play all from here" instead of just "play this track".

If I keep in JRemote the track selection pressed I got the following options
- play now
- play next
- append to the 'now playing' list
- playDoctor
- metadata
- Add to playlist
Nothing seems to fit with my requirement

Sorry,  it looks like you must first change the default section.  Here are a couple of screen shots that should help.

In JRemote, press and hold where I've skillfully underlined in yellow in the first image.

I skillfully do what you suggest but I get a graybox with 'Playmode', no action is possible
