Title: Feature Request: JRiver Client WebOS App
Post by: dr. shane on May 11, 2019, 05:26:21 pm
With Gizmo, WebGizmo, JRemote, etc, I'm wondering if it would be feasible to create a WebOS JRiver app.  I believe Plex has such an app, which is downloadable, for example, on LG's Smart TVs.  I know DLNA streaming is an option, but a JRiver WebOS Client app could be better.  Thoughts?

Why not just use Panel in a browser? Nothing to download, and it's updated everytime the MC is updated.

Good idea.  I'm not that familiar with JRiver Panel.  I see that you can use your Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access) Key to access your library.  What about all the settings usually configured for a client?  What settings are used?

If you're referring to the DLNA server configurations, it shouldn't use any if you're playing to Panel because it's not DLNA. When you're playing to Panel, the client settings are on the Settings page in Panel.

You can find instructions for Panel here:
