Title: Media Center Meltdown
Post by: beesmakehoney on May 15, 2003, 03:25:28 pm
Ok so I am now using MC 9.0.172 and XP.

When I cut a section out of an mp3 file, paste it to a new file then try to save as an mp3 file, Media Editor shuts down.  If I save as a wav file there is no problem.  Any suggestions?

I don't know, but you could work around it by using MC to convert the wav file.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies!

I hate to sound so ignorant, as I am a long time user, but what the heck and where are CBR and VBR?

Download doesn't work.  I get the following message:

"Invalid package file.  Cannot continue."

Can I use another file?

Thanks for your help!

I get that, too.  Try right-click->Save Target As... to download the file, then run it from your hard disk.
