Hello, can someone help with following: We need to get JRMC25 to work with a Marian D4 AES/EBU breakout card asap. We tried but we get a loud, "white-noise'ish" digital distortion sound happening. Tested on two different Windows based PC's with same outcome. Same computers together with other pro ASIO digi-cards works fine. What to do?

Check the Audio Path (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Audio_Path) to confirm your input and output. Are other programs able to use the Marian D4 with no issues?
-
Are you using an ASIO driver from the manufacturer?
What kind of file are you playing?
Version of MC?
Audio settings in MC?
-
The Marian D4 card works perfect with any other DAW or Media Player. ASIO driver used, is the one popping up when choosing digicard in "Playback Options - Audio Device" (...where, if we use any other driver/breakout card, works fine). "Audio Path" reads the right path. Version of MC: 25.0.33. File types = any file type, e.g. 44/16 or 192/24 wavs.

Can you post a screenshot of your MC Options > Audio window? Also having a screenshot of the audio device list probably wouldn't hurt either.
-
It's possible that you're using a 64 bit driver with a 32 bit version of MC or vice versa, and that this makes a difference.

Pictures that now can be seen... :-)

I've tested both a 32 bit Windows 7 and a 64 bit Wnd 8. Same issues on both and when using Marian D4 card with any other SW playback, works perfect on both OS's. So issue seem to relate to JRMC25 or maybe settings we can't "see" we do wrong as is... Any clue?
-
Do any of the other ASIO devices work? You might try checking the Device users only most significant 24-bits box and see if it helps. You might even try messing with the volume device dropdown menu there too.
-
As I wrote before, any other ASIO device works fine. Altering between 24 or 32 bits output won't and should not do any difference other than a possible bit truncation. Anybody out there with a clue to what is wrong here? Unfortunately in urgent need to get it sorted...
-
Is Output Format > Output Encoding set "None" in DSP Studio?
Have you installed the correct drivers from the manufacturer's website?
The ASIO driver shown in the first picture is the mfg's driver. The driver also works with other software on the same computer.

Did you try the mfr of the card?

If you're using a 64 bit version of MC and the driver is 32 bit, try the 32 bit version of MC.

SOLVED! In deed, Integer mode did the difference. Thank's a great lot! :-) And thank's to Konrad at Marian!

Great. Thanks for reporting the solution.
