Hello
I need import to library from the cloud drive (like Google Drive) and I used a Network Map Drive (RaiDrive/ExpanDrive) to do it.
But a problem is JRiver will read full file to get all metadata so It's make my HDD full with a big cache file and the import processing is very slow.
I just want JRiver can support to get all metadata from file name so I think it's better for import any file from the cloud.
And by the way, why not support for play directly from the cloud drive ?
Google Drive or OneDrive, Dropbox, pCloud, etc have API to support it so if JRiver can play direct from the cloud it's will perfect for any one here.
Thanks

This may be beyond what you are looking to do, but one alternative is to store your files on a storage VPS, run JRiver MC on the VPS, and connect to it via Library Server from your clients. I pay about $80/yr for 1TB of storage on my VPS.

I think its fine but Google Drive cheap and the speed very good with unlimited storage.
So can you let me know where you get your VPS?
Thanks

I use Time4VPS, there may be better/cheaper options at this point, I have been happily using them for years.
