Title: Replacing Low Res Files With is

I have a lot of low res files.  And I have begun rerippig to higher res files.  What I would like to know is if there is a way to:
1. Identify all song files that have a low res and hi res version of the song.
2. Replace the Low Res with the Hi Res vesrion in all my play lists
3. Delete the low res version

I have a view that lists duplicate tracks:

It's a panes view, the Panes are Genre, Album Artist (auto)and album (but you could change these)

Set rules for files display has
Media type is Audio
Genre is not any Audio book; comedy; documentary; Internet radio; podcast; test; test track
Modifyer: 'Only Duplicates of' 'Album; Album Artist; Name'

Add a column for 'file type' (or bitrate or whatever) in the main part of the display.

There are some genuine duplicates but this should help a lot.

What do you mean by low resolution … 160kbps mp3?
What do you mean by high resolution … 320kbps mp3?

if reripping CDs … might as well rip them to lossless format like FLAC … save yourself time (as its likely you will do this in the future) … then if need lower resolution for mobile, can generate those from FLAC without needing CDs anymore (I keep CDs around to display on shelves these days)
