Title: Video conversion 25.0.37 64bit

Normally I keep my video files in a lossless MKV container. I have experimented with AVI and Mp4. The AVI is being ripped again and replaced with lossless MKV. I just tried to convert a Mp4 to MKV and I went from a 1 GB file to 250k. I would have thought that they would be in the same or very close. Am I missing something.  Both are 1080p.

Tried to play the MKV conversion and there is7 minutes and 36 seconds of the movie so apparently it crashed during the conversion process.
