I remember a feature in iTunes where I could adjust the portion of a song I wanted played. Like if I new the first 15-20 seconds was not very interesting, or the last minute of a song wasn't worth playing, I could add these buffer types of settings which in the end would play only the parts of the song which I wanted to hear.
I know I could just edit the song itself to truncate these portions of the song, but I would rather keep the original intact. I have looked around MC but I have been unable to find a feature like this.
Anyone else know of a possible solution?
Cheers

Looks like this will be more of a feature request than a question.
I think it is a really good feature to have, and maybe have it alterable down to the playlist. That way for different playlists, you can play varying lengths of songs depending on the mood of the selections. Sometimes songs take a dramatic turn that doesn't quite fit.
Just a thought.

advanced playback controls have been requested for a while now including these features as well as the ability to loop portions, change tempo etc.
Still no sign of any of them though :(
