I have a small pesky problem with the plug-in for the Nomad Jukebox, whenever I try to sync a play list that I created in Media Center to my Nomad, if I have songs with the same name from two different albums it would sometimes choose the wrong song.
For example, I have the song "Red" by King Crimson, I have like three versions of it from live cds and such, but when I choose the studio version of it and put it on a play list, and I would get one of the live versions when it is transferred to the Nomad. Any help with this would be great thanks.

king896,
Please download the latest plugin (9.0.11) and your problem should go away. Please let me know if it does not.
Thanks,
Steve

It seems like it is still there, I just tried it with a couple of Beatles songs, in which I choose the songs from the original album, but when transferred they were the versions off of the Anthology Cds instead of the originals
-
king896,
Can you verify that v 9.0.11 of the Plugin was registered ( Go to Tools->Plugin Manager->Handheld->Nomad Jukebox->Version to retrieve this info)?
If it is, what are the album names for one of the songs that is duplicated?
-
yes i checked it was the latest version, here is the example you wanted
Artist:Beatles
Name: Help!
Album: Help!
Artist:Beatles
Name: Help!
Album: Anthology 2 (Cd1)
This happens on all the tracks that have the same name but are in different albums, what I believe is happening is that it is choosing the song by which album comes up first alphabetically.

king896,
I will have to look at this again on Monday. Please check back then.

it seems as if it is still there, i tried the same songs from the previous post, same results and i tried a couple of others, and the problem still seems to be there
thanks for you help with

king896,
What happens if you do the following?
1) Create a new Playlist.
2) Add two files with the same name and different albums (i.e. Help!)
3) Synch the Playlist.
When I do the above test I get the playlist with the two different songs which is what I would expect. Can you give me some instructions on a simple way to recreate your problem?

that seems like exacty what i am doing with my playlist, i guess it is just a problem for me then, i am using the latest firmware JB3PCFW_WHQL_1_32_02.exe, and the latest drivers JBDrvWHQL_1_20_04b.exe. I have tried both ways of getting the playlist onto the player, by dragging and dropping the menu into the player and tranfering, and by synicing it.

king896,
Can you send me two of the files where you are having the problem? Maybe I will be able to duplicate it with your files....
