Title: uninstall of old version
Post by: ddow on June 05, 2019, 04:59:33 pm
Hello. I installed MC24 in September. I just noticed that MC21 is still hanging around. I tried to execute the uninstaller. It complains of being unable to load a skin "noire", reverting to default. X out of that; it then says "failed to load default skin, unable to continue Please Reinstall Media Center". It then brings up the "Help us improve" window but there is no way to submit the response.

How do I get rid of the old version? This is on Windows 7/64.

Thanks.

Sorry about the problem.

Try reinstalling MC21 and then uninstall:

Once you've done that, it would probably be a good idea to reinstall MC24 over the top of itself.

You won't lose anything, and it will reconnect internally anything that might have been unintentionally disconnected by the MC21 fly-by.

Thanks, I'll try that.
