Title: Cover art issues

When I try to copy and paste cover art, the software and essentially the whole computer hangs up for 30 to 60 seconds. What is happening.

What OS?  What version of MC?

Is it when you copy?  Or when you paste?

Windows 10 (the last update really screwed some things up but this happened before that). MC 24 and 25. It happens when I paste.

I also have a problem with disappearing cover art.

Windows 10 (the last update really screwed some things up but the copy and paste problem happened before that). MC 24 and 25. It happens when I paste.
Some cover art has disappeared and some albums refuse to accept cover art.
Much of my collection is classical and there is an issue with file name sizes and metadata. Is there a limit on metadata?

No real limits.

Things that hang when writing to the disk are often caused by antivirus software.
