Title: Videos playing the first 2-3 seconds and loop again

I am having a problem with videos, mostly .mts files but it has happened to other types as well.
When I play a video, it starts and after a couple of seconds it either restarts on its own and Mediacenter plays the first couple of seconds over and over again, or it starts playing all video files in the directory jumping from file two file in less than a second.
I have had this problem with previous Mediacenter versions on the same PC,  but it had somehow stopped for a long time.
Now I need to restart my PC to actually play these files.

Any ideas ?

Are you playing locally?  Or to a DLNA device, etc.?

OS?

Version of MC?

Have you tried bothRed October Standard and HQ?

I am playing locally and from a Synology NAS, Red October Standard. Never bothered to try the HQ setting. Locally is either a WD hard disk or an SSD.

Running Windows 10, MC version was 25.0.4X last time I had the problem, can't really tell exact version cause MC has just upgraded to version 25.0.54 (64 bit)
