When I check for updates in MC v25.0.62 x64, I get the message “There was a problem checking for updates”.
I have 2 other installs running 25.0.54 x64 and checking updates doesn’t display that message.
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
Is this a bug with the v.62 release or something on my side?

Do you have an Internet connection?
-
Yep. All 3 computers connect to same router.
-
Firewall? Antivirus?
-
Same firewall and AV on all 3.
Same problem with firewall turned off or on.
-
Perhaps it has something to do with 25.0.62 getting revoked?

I manually did the "Check for Updates" under 25.0.62 (/Help / Update Channels / Check for Updates (Latest version) and got the same message. I also wondered if the message relates to there perhaps being no current version to download because of the revocation?

What release channel are you guys on? Latest? This might be happening because 25.0.62 was pulled due to issues. It'll probably work once there's a new build in the latest channel.

I’m using Check for Updates (Latest version) on MC 25.0.62. I’m not a beta tester.

Same for me.
I agree, the lack of a version to download is the likely culprit.
-
Same for me, also Problems with checking updates :'(

It'll probably work again once the next build is released to the public. 25.0.62 was pulled due to issues.

Should be in an hour or two.

The same problem occurs with 25.0.66.

Please try again. The ACL settings got changed somehow.

It returned to normal by reinstalling.

I had the same problem - I got 25.0.62 to update to .66 by downloading from the link and manually installing.

I had the problem too. I got to 25.0.66 by waiting for Matt to fix it, which I knew he would.

All better for me on 25.0.66!
Thanks!
