Title: Network loss with Id upgrade
Post by: JohnJay on June 28, 2019, 10:20:02 am
I upgraded my MC20 Id to MC24 for the new features. The upgrade went well, wired appears to work but I cannot connect wireless. I have a 5CPYH purchased in 4/16. I have an IP address but I have lost other settings. Should I execute the backup and reinstall MC24 or do you have settings I can use?
Thanks

What happens when you do function 11 from the mail menu to view the interfaces? Do you see a wlan0?

You could always try function 66 (hidden) which resets the network interface config.

Yes, I see a wlan0. I will try 66 and let you know.

66 worked, the Id now connects automatically. Thanks for your help and for a great product.

hi Bob. trying to get my new ssd working. mostly ok but struggling to get from wireless to wired connection. menu item 11: error fetching interface information: Device not found

maybe more damage from dropping it than just the old drive?

Hi Michael,
Try that hidden option 66 to reset the network interfaces.
