Hello Forum,
I'm running JRiver MC release 25 on Win 10 and an RME Babyface sound card. There are certain MP4 audio files that I can't playback. They seem to be high resolution files.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Attached is a screenshot of the files that won't play -- they are the MP4 files. The FLAC files playback fine. Thanks!

Are you sure those are supposed to be real audio file? They show a bitrate of 12, which is really low, and they are in a subfolder called "Pure Music Bookmark.pmbmf", which seems suspicious (apparently something Audirvana creates)

They aren't real audio files. They are files used to trick iTunes into playing unsupported files, such as FLAC. The files are created by "Pure Music" software from Channel D: http://www.channld.com/index.html
If you don't want to see them in MC anymore, but still use iTunes or other Apps that use the iTunes database, the solution is in the second part of this post: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,121194.msg838873.html#msg838873
If you don't want to use iTunes to play FLAC files, delete all the "Pure Music Bookmark" files, uninstall the Pure Music software, and enjoy the music played by JRiver MC. 8)

Thank you both very much. What you are saying makes a lot of sense!
