Title: Media Center 24 old version
Post by: vcrpro3 on July 08, 2019, 12:45:16 pm
Many months ago i was gifted with a license for Media Center 24. My PC crashed and i lost all my programs and download where i had saved the install file for 24. Luckily, i had printed out my license key. Where can i re-download version 24? Thanks.

I notice there are 32 and 64 bit versions. On a 64 bit Windows OS (most are 64 bit these days), would the 32 bit be more stabile or would it not matter?

If your OS is 64 bit, use the 64 bit version of MC.

If you use VST plugins, keep in mind 32-bit VST plugins won't work in 64-bit MC (and there may or may not be 64-bit versions of those VST plugins available).

Also, if you use ASIO, there's a chance there's no 64-bit ASIO driver available if you use a USB DAC or something else that uses an ASIO driver.

If neither of those affect you, then you should be good using the 64-bit version of MC.
