Title: MC25 - Plug-ins don't work with Streaming

I've tried all the built-in plug-ins and one I added (Stereo Tool). None work when Streaming is the source and they say "Playback stopped or current playback doesn't support processing". Is there a workaround?

You shouldn't need plugins. What are you playing?

I'm only using 2 channel stereo. I've used the Stereo Tool plug-in in MC for years to correct/repair compressed audio like mp3 on-the-fly and it works very well. I changed the sound driver to te exclusive mode per your link and tried different sound drivers but no joy with any Streaming sources.
