I am having a major sync problem, not noticed previously. New hardware- TV went from Samsung UHD to LG oled. PC went from Beeline mini to Asus PB series hotrod (vs. the Beeline). Pix lags sound, about ~6-10 seconds apart. Old recordings or new are the same. Audio is via Dragonfly Black USB, or HDMI to the TV.
I did have to reinstall Windows 10 pro on the server machine and might have screwed something up in the process. I'm sure of this, as the system was running flawlessly from early ver 24.

I had not considered this as the delay was many seconds, will follow the instructions and report.

I have one of the LG OLEDs, and the needed audio delay to compensate is measured in milliseconds, not seconds.
You said the issue was wih recorded TV... Have you tried some video that you didn't record, like a bluray or dvd rip? Try that. For me the correct sync correction in JRiver is 200ms for 24Hz (23.976 bluray) and 130ms for everything else. Check that out and report back.
With a delay of 6-10 seconds, I suspect the problem is in the video files that you've already recorded, or in the capture hardware you're using to record.

all recorded videos have the same problem- movies, TV both live (using the server's tuner) and recorded.
I'll connect the old client equipment and see where this takes me.

Do the sync videos at the link Jim gave you exhibit the issue?
