Title: unable to add cover art from from clipboard
Post by: ohohyodasoda on July 28, 2019, 09:55:22 pm
running version 25.25.0.80   I have an album that I ripped but no cover art is discovered on the internet.  So I am trying to use the feature Tools/cover art/paste from clipboard (image or url).

I have a .jpg image in the clipboard and I can paste it onto my desktop, so I know the image is in the clipboard.  But when I highlight the audio track in the track listings, and select... Tools/cover art/paste from clipboard (image or url) from the menu, nothing happens.  Perhaps I don't understand how to do this properly.  What are the correct steps to paste a cover art .jpg image from the clipboard to the thumbnail for the track listing?

Thanks for helping this new MC25 user.

To paste from clipboard, you have to have an actual image on the clipboard, not an image file, like when you copy/paste in explorer.

Open the image file in an image editor, select all, copy, and then you can paste into MC.
