I head up a non-profit that does workshops all over the US and Canada. We use lots of music and video. We are currently doing this with iTunes, but with the way we have been expanding, we are wanting to have a more centralized set up. Some of the problems we have with our current usage is that every location is responsible for purchasing, maintaining and updating their own playlists/media files. In addition to being expensive, it also is cumbersome. When we update or change a song/video, every location needs to do that.
What we'd like to be able to do is have all the files and playlists housed and maintained on a computer at our headquarters, and the various locations would be able to access that. So, if we change a playlist at headquarters, when the clients access the host, they automatically get the update. When we add songs, they don't have to buy them, they just access them via the client/host.
Is that something that JRiver can do?
Thanks,
Ian

Yes, this is definitely possible.
