Title: Exclude folder not working
Post by: enb141 on August 18, 2019, 06:12:48 pm
I have set an Exclude Folder in Media Import but keeps showing the files.

The Main folder is

D:\Music\

The Exclude Folder is

D:\Music\Dream Theater\Distance over Time\

but files within keeps appearing.

If you just delete the files from the library they shouldn't come back.

So that means it is really broken?

After deleting from the library and then executing auto import the files are not back.

I would guess the files came in before you set up the exclude path.

I added the exclude rule after because I got a higher resolution audio so I created a new folder and then I had to exclude the lowest quality folder

Exclude folders only work if the file isn't already in the library.

If the file is already there, it does nothing.

Kind of a corner case, but that's how it works.
