Title: 7.1 movie playback and EQ

Hi all.
Setting up a small hometheater. But have some issues.
I would like to use the EQs in jriver for each of the 7 speaker channels. But cant seeme to be able to set it ut correct.

I have PC with W10. HDMI cable from pc to my Emotiva Umc1.

I see all channels in the parametric EQ but they will not kick in. Cant remember the what jriver says, Im not home Just now.

What am I doing wrong? I can use the EQ when playing 2 channel music, but not when playing multichannel.

Need some advice..

The first thing that comes to mind is that Bitstreaming must be off, I believe
