Title: Auto Updates question
Post by: murray on August 27, 2019, 04:26:36 pm
This morning when I turned on MC25 it did a new update before it loaded. I see that its defaulted to do this and in the dropdown box it states not recommended to turn off. My question is will this only happen on a startup? I dont want an update box to ever jump up on the screen in the middle of a movie, is that possible?

It's pretty well behaved.  Here's how it works:

I didnt see the answer to my question in this link you supplied.

My question was:

If I have the recommended setting turned on "Auto Updates" (recommended) can an update ever appear in the middle of screening a feature film?

No.  That would not be well behaved.
